Botulinum toxin injections relax muscles by temporarily blocking the nerve endings allowing for smoothing of the overlying skin and helping us look less tired/sad/angry. After a consultation, the (almost) painless procedure usually takes around 10 minutes and there is minimal downtime.

It takes around 2-3 days to start noticing the relaxation, and results peak at around 2 weeks. The treatment is recommended every 3 months and the procedure is considered safe with few side effects such as possible bruising.
