Filler
Everything you need to know....
Dermal fillers contain a naturally occurring substance called Hyaluronic Acid (HA) which is found in skin and tissue. HA has a variety of benefits when used in different concentrations in it's injectable form. It binds with water to create hydrated tissue, helps with elasticity of the skin, and in thicker forms, supports facial structures and creates structure.

Dr Alison is a national trainer for filler brand Revanesse and is an expert in using dermal fillers to:
- restore volume where it is naturally lost from ageing
- reduce fine lines and wrinkles
- contour the cheeks/chin/jawline to balance out your unique proportions
- hydrate/volumise/shape the lips
- smooth out the undereye area (tear trough filler)
- shape the nose (a non-surgical rhinoplasty)

These products are a non-permanent, mostly painless, completely reversible injectable that provide quick and often immediate results with very few side effects.

After a consultation, Dr Alison will plan your dermal filler treatment in detail following an in depth discussion of your goals - offering only natural, balanced and undetectable (to others) results.

With years of experience using various fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane, we are now exclusively using Revanesse - a premium, medical-grade dermal filler which offers a beautiful selection of products delivering the best results..

Let's explore various filler treatments:

Cheek Enhancement
This is one of the most popular treatments as the cheeks are amongst the first areas of the face to flatten, lose volume and pull the face downwards making us appear tired/sad/angry. Using a flexible yet supportive dermal filler, this low risk technique of injecting to replace volume allows for lifting of the mid-face and framing of the eyes - let them really sparkle!

Treatments to the cheek area are virtually painless and last around 20 minutes and include the apple (portion nearest to the nose) and also defining the cheek bone laterally. A useful treatment when performed correctly to accentuate the male and female form.

Lip Enhancement
Thankfully, we've come a long way from the days of the 'trout-pout'!
Modern-day products, a range of techniques, and better education has allowed for people everywhere to enjoy the magic of a beautifully formed lip - highlighting their smile and framing the teeth.
One of the tell-tale signs of ageing is the lips, but understandably this is one of the most feared procedures. Dr Alison prides herself on natural, subtle lip treatment results through carefully chosen layering of product and advanced techniques. After a thorough consultation, the procedure usually takes around 15-20 minutes.

Lip filler benefits include:
- Hydrating the lips
- Restoring proportion and volume
- Restoring/creating shape
- Defining the natural lip line
- Helping fine lines around the mouth

As the lips are a very sensitive area, Dr Alison will apply an anaesthetic cream to help reduce the stinging which is expected with all lip injections to make it as comfortable as possible.

Chin + Jawline Enhancement
The lower face provides structure and hugely impacts the whole face and neckline. Using dermal filler we can reshape and contour your profile to compliment the rest of your face for a natural result.

It's all about proportion. A 'weak' or receding chin can affect the shape of the mouth and can even make the nose appear more prominent. Using dermal filler we can build the perfect shaped chin to balance out your individual features. Similarly, an accentuated jawline can make the face/neck appear slimmer, more defined, and more youthful. Whether you're looking for stronger, more masculine angles, or an elegant, feminine profile, Dr Alison can enhance your natural structure with a range of dermal fillers.

Tear Trough Filler
Say hello to fresh eyes and a face that looks like you slept for a week!
One of the most common reasons we can appear tired is due to dark circles and hollows under our eyes, and this usually worsens as we age. Using a silky, thin dermal filler, we can replace some of the tissue volume loss and lift the skin away from the underlying darker areas making them appear lighter and more flush with the contour of the cheek.

This is an extremely delicate area and requires a highly trained injector to treat safely and effectively. Book a consultation today to discuss with Dr Alison if this procedure might be suitable for you.

Naso-labial Folds Treatment
The lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth are known as 'naso-labial folds' or 'smile lines'. As part of ageing, the fold becomes deeper and can give the appearance of tiredness and sagging. With the use of dermal filler we can lift and restore volume in this area for a smooth border between the mouth and cheek.

This is a discreet, quick and (almost) painless technique which brightens, lifts and smooths. Often used in conjunction with a cheek enhancement to address other areas of volume loss, incredible results can be achieved in just one session.

Marionette Lines Treatment
Marionette lines are deep folds that appear from the corners or the mouth down to the sides of the chin due to age-related changes such as volume loss and loss of collagen. Along with accentuating 'jowls' either side of the chin, these folds drag the face downwards and pull on the mouth giving the appearance of sadness/frustrating. Using dermal filler we can reduce these folds resulting in a smoother lower face and also supporting the corners of the mouth.

Along with other lower face treatments, we can dramatically (yet subtly) improve appearances of the tissue in this area using various techniques and types of filler.

Non-surgical Rhinoplasty
This non-surgical procedure is also known as a 'liquid rhinoplasty'. Using dermal filler we can alter the shape of the nose to create a straighter and less 'hooked' appearance. As an alternative to surgery, this procedure has very little downtime and offers immediate results. Using dermal filler can also be a way to test out if the full surgical option is something you'd like as the results are temporary and reversible.

The results can last around a year and is only mildly uncomfortable and doesn't generally need any form of anaesthetic.
