Morpheus 8: The Skin Tightening Treatment Celebrities Swear By

AKA the 'non-surgical face lift', Morpheus 8 is probably the most well known non-surgical, non-injectable treatment available. Responsible for Judy Murray's incredible results:

This remarkable device has become the discreet secret of the red carpet set, loved for its ability to firm, tighten, and rejuvenate the skin in a way that looks completely natural. But as a new treatment for The Avery Clinic, it’s not the celebrity endorsements that caught my attention, it’s the clinical evidence, the science, and the sheer versatility of this technology.

I’m delighted to announce that Morpheus8 is now available at The Avery Clinic, and I can confidently say it’s one of the most powerful, skin-transforming devices I’ve come across.

I’m lucky to now have Nurse Rebecca, our new skin-expert, who will be offering this treatment at The Avery Clinic from September onwards.

What is Morpheus8? And How Does it Work?

Morpheus8 is an advanced, non-surgical treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy.

Think of it as traditional microneedling, but supercharged. The device uses tiny, gold-plated micro-pins to penetrate the skin at various depths, delivering controlled heat via RF energy deep into the dermis and sub-dermal layers.

This dual action triggers a natural healing response that stimulates the production of collagen, elastin and new skin cells and causes the skin to CONTRACT. We can also target stubborn fatty pockets like under the chin, or the jowl area to tighten the deeper fat layers too.

So the aim is for tightened skin, contoured jawline, and the illusion of a lift for the face, neck, or whatever areas of the body we’re targeting.

Where traditional microneedling is largely confined to the superficial layers of the skin, Morpheus8 works at depths of up to 7mm, meaning we can target not only surface texture but also the underlying architecture of the skin, including the fat and connective tissue that contributes to facial shape and definition.

What Concerns Can Morpheus8 Address?

One of the reasons I was so keen to introduce Morpheus8 is its remarkable versatility. This is not just a ‘skin treatment’  it’s a regenerative protocol that can address a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Loss of jawline definition and jowls

  • Sagging and crepey skin on the neck and décolletage

  • Nasolabial folds and marionette lines

  • Under-eye bags and skin laxity

  • Overall skin laxity on the face and body

  • Textural issues like enlarged pores and roughness

  • Acne scars and post-inflammatory pigmentation

  • Stretch marks and body skin tightening

Because we can adjust the depth, intensity, and energy delivered, Morpheus8 is highly customisable, meaning every treatment is tailored precisely to your needs, your facial anatomy, and your desired outcomes.

The Morpheus8 Treatment Process

Every Morpheus8 journey begins with a comprehensive consultation. We’ll assess your skin, discuss your concerns and expectations, and create a tailored treatment plan.

On the day of your treatment:

  • A topical numbing cream is applied 45 minutes beforehand to ensure comfort throughout the procedure.

  • The Morpheus8 device is then passed over the treatment area, delivering a stamp of precise microneedling combined with radiofrequency energy. This is a perfectly comfortable treatment due to the numbing cream.

  • Depending on the area and intensity, the treatment typically takes 30-40 minutes.

Post-treatment, you can expect some redness, warmth, and dryness, rather like sunburn, for a few days. Most patients experience minimal downtime and can return to normal activities straight away, though we’ll provide detailed aftercare instructions to optimise your recovery and results.

When Will I See Results?

The beauty of Morpheus 8 lies in its progressive results. While some immediate tightening can be noticeable within days, the real transformation occurs over the next 4 to 12 weeks as collagen production ramps up and the skin begins to restructure itself from within.

A course of three treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, is typically recommended for optimal results, followed by maintenance treatments once or twice a year to sustain collagen production.

Why Morpheus8 Has Become a Celebrity Favourite

It’s easy to see why Morpheus8 has quietly become the go-to treatment for celebrities. There’s no surgery, no tell-tale signs of having had ‘work done,’ and no significant downtime. Instead, there’s a gradual, natural improvement, firmer contours, smoother skin, and a healthier, more youthful appearance that keeps getting better with time.

I believe that the best aesthetic treatments are the ones that regenerate rather than creating something that was never there. Morpheus 8 embodies that philosophy perfectly so I’m delighted to now offer this treatment.

Why I’ve Chosen Morpheus 8 for The Avery Clinic

I’m highly selective about the technologies and treatments I bring into the clinic. For me, a device must not only be safe and evidence-backed but must also deliver results that are consistent, predictable, and genuinely worthwhile.

In the right hands, the Morpheus 8 offers a non-surgical solution to sagging, laxity and skin ageing that rivals more invasive procedures, without the associated risks or recovery time.

Ready to Reshape, Refine and Rejuvenate?

I’m excited to offer Morpheus8 to our patients, and to help you achieve results that are both visible and natural.

If you’re bothered by softening jawlines, stubborn skin laxity, or simply want to future-proof your skin, then come and see us for a consultation to explore what Morpheus8 can achieve for you.

Your skin’s next chapter starts here!
